Karen B. Moore, APR, CPRC
President
 Karen Moore has more
than 20 years experience in providing research, public relations and marketing
services to corporations, governmental agencies, associations and non-profit
organizations. In addition to serving as President for Beacon Research, she is
the CEO and Founder for Moore Consulting Group, an integrated marketing
communications firm with clients throughout the United States. Karen is the
recipient of the Stan Tate Award for Life Time Excellence and Achievement from
the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), the National Distinguish
Leader Award by the National Association of Community Leaders, and the Silver
Medal Award from the Florida Advertising Federation. She serves on the boards
of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Tallahassee Community College Foundation,
Florida Sports and Hospitality, Inc., and the Florida Council for Economic
Education. She holds the Accredited Public Relations (APR) and Certified Public
Relations Counselor (CPRC) designations from FPRA.

Jay Rayburn, APR, CPRC, Ph.D, Fellow PRSA
Senior Vice President
and Director of Research
 Dr. Jay Rayburn has
more than 25 years experience in conducting research for corporations,
governmental agencies, associations and public relations firms. In addition to
serving as Senior Vice President of Beacon Research, he is a professor in the
Department of Communication at Florida State University where he heads the
public relations and advertising programs, and teaches courses in public
relations management and research. Dr. Rayburn is a past state president of the
Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), a former chairman of the North
American Public Relations Council, the Founding Chairman of FPRA's Counselors’
Network, a member of the Universal Accreditation Board, and an active member of
the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). He holds the APR from PRSA, and
the Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) from FPRA. He was inducted into
PRSA's College of Fellows in 1996, and FPRA named him the recipient of the John
W. Dillin Award — the association's highest honor signifying lifelong service
to both the association and the profession.
